Mechanism record
CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH(1-29) analogue (Modified GRF 1-29) with four amino acid substitutions (Ala2, Gln8, Ala15, Leu27) for DPP-IV resistance. The DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) variant covalently binds serum albumin in vivo, extending half-life to 6-8 days and producing sustained (non-pulsatile) GH/IGF-1 elevation. Without DAC, half-life is ~30 minutes, preserving natural pulsatile GH release. Activates pituitary GHRH receptors via cAMP/PKA pathway.
Half-life record
~6-8 days (with DAC), ~30 minutes (without DAC / Mod GRF 1-29)
